ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions has integrated an innovative asset tagging function into its Openings Studio Building Information Modelling (BIM) software. ASSA ABLOY’s Openings Studio, a cloud-based tool for creating, visualizing, and managing door openings, now features an asset tagging capability. This function assigns a unique tag to every door, which can be presented as a QR code or an RFID tag. The Openings Studio Mobile App has been updated to include this asset tagging functionality. Users can now access a complete history for each door, encompassing product specifications, inspection findings, and hardware schedules.
