Here are some typical QR Code Stickers projects we have undertaken…

Transport for London

The project is ongoing and involves producing stickers to identify every asset in the Transport for London network. Originally, their technology relied on bar codes which were scanned to identify the individual items. However, we initiated a move to QR codes which offers a more future proof solution, hence the stickers featuring both options.

Having two scanning options provides a tangible transition between the two systems and offers flexibility for staff members and contractors who prefer to use a mobile-based App.

Identifying trees

A local Council wanted to ensure the trees they were responsible for maintaining could be easily identified by their staff members.

We produced a series of sequentially numbered QR code stickers which featured a unique, sequentially numbered QR code that were applied to a small plate on each tree.

This simple solution that used sequentially numbered QR code stickers meant that operators could simply scan the QR code and access information about each tree via an App that linked to a specific URL.

Saxon Weald

Saxon Weald is a large housing association based in the Southeat of England. We were commissioned to produce 20,000 QR code stickers that they use to identify the numerous firedoors in the properties they maintain.

The QR Code stickers features a sequential number and branded logo and were designed to fit on the reveal of each firedoor. These operate using the Mobiess firedoor APP which provides a great solution for identifying firedoors and recording maintenance and repairs.

Premier Football Stadium

Premier Football teams play in a stadium with 10,000 of thousands of  match-goers on a weekly basis.

This project involved us providing a series of branded QR codes to identify all the room, spaces and stairwells within the 4 main areas of the stadium.

Furthermore, the QR codes were used to identify individual assets located there, which meant devising a bespoke sequence of numbers to reflect this.

The QR code stickers are now used and work alongside their app-based platform.

Events Company

In a recent project for an events management company, we printed 4000 business cards each with a unique but sequentially numbered QR Code printed onto it.
This allowed visitors who had visited the Kia motor show trade stand to scan the card they were given which pointed them to their own unique and personalised web page.

All without them having to type in a web address or having to remember the web address they needed to visit.

Identifying Storage Bins

In larger applications, one of the most common uses of sequential QR Codes is for the collection of data and information to track routing efficiency. One of our clients wanted a way to track storage bins at sites across the UK and QR Code stickers provided the perfect solution. By analysing the data of where and when bins were scanned as they were picked up, programs can track their routes and locations.  With that data, programs can look at the order in which bins are collected, and even traffic patterns, to revise the sequence of pickups for maximum efficiency.

Interesting Question and answers regarding Sequentially Numbered QR Code stickers

Randomised One-of-a-kind Identifier (RUID) GoCodes solves these problems by utilizing a trademarked QR code technology that utilizes unique randomised worldwide identifiers as opposed to sequential identification numbers.

The Kraays of Alberta, Canada, have actually managed to sculpt the world’s biggest QR code into a corn labyrinth at their ranch. Measuring 309,570 square feet, the code is among a collection of annual corn mazes devised by the family members, which just recently obtained a certification from the Guinness World Records group for their efforts.

QR codes have been available in different dot densities – the densest in present usage is a “QR-40” which (if you make use of the least feasible redundancy for mistake adjustment) can save 2,953 bytes – which is 23,624 little bits. That suggests that there can be feasible QR-40 codes. That’s an unearthly lot.

Do individuals still utilize QR codes today? The basic answer is indeed! They are relevant as well as will certainly remain to be still matter in the coming years! In fact, QR codes are only making a big comeback during the COVID-19pandemic and many of our clients use sequentially numbered QR Code stickers to fulfill their tracking needs.

Technically, a QR code doesn’t “run out.” Like Sequentially Numbered QR Codes stickers, they’re just a matrix of squares that have information. But due to the fact that dynamic QR codes can be made to redirect to any type of brand-new details at picked times, they can efficiently expire.

The main distinction in between barcodes and also QR codes is one of physical measurements. Barcodes can be checked in a line.
